AYSO United

AYSO United – What is it and why choose it?

AYSO United San Diego is the competitive year round soccer division of Mira Mesa Soccer.

AYSO United players are placed in a positive learning environment based on a year-round, player-centered training experience designed to focus on all aspects of player development.

Each AYSO United player is exposed to our year-round periodization program designed to allow players to reach their fullest potential while enjoying meaningful games through competitive league play and appropriately selected tournament play.

We Believe In:

  • Developing every player, not just the starting 11

  • Guaranteed 50% play time during league games

  • Focusing on long-term success, not short-term pressure

  • Creating a positive, team-first atmosphere where kids thrive

Not Pay to Play. Just Play to Grow.

AYSO United San Diego: Local Club, Real Growth

In many club environments, pay-to-play means more than just high fees, it means barriers to entry, pressure to perform, and sometimes, lost opportunities for kids who can’t afford the price tag. It sends the message that soccer is only for those who can pay their way in.

At AYSO United San Diego, we believe something very different:

Soccer belongs to everyone. That’s why we’ve built a development-focused, affordable club program that keeps costs low and values effort over income.

Our teams compete in the SoCal Soccer League, facing other top clubs from across Southern California in a variety of flights based on skill and age.

But we keep our roots in Mira Mesa. Our staff includes a mix of both licensed paid coaches and volunteer coaches who are committed to helping Mira Mesa kids grow as players without needing to leave their neighborhood or jump to expensive clubs.
