About Us

AYSO Mira Mesa Region 285

About Us

AYSO delivers world-class soccer programs for players ages 4 to 18 using 100% volunteer power.

Who We Are

AYSO Region 285 – Mira Mesa is an all-volunteer organization committed to providing a safe, fair, affordable, and fun soccer experience for all players and families, whether they are brand new to the game or have years of experience.

Our program is affordable and high quality because of volunteers. Coaches, referees, board members, team parents, field helpers, event volunteers, and families all help make AYSO possible for our youth.

Where

Our Community

AYSO Region 285 is centered in San Diego, California. Players and volunteers come from Mira Mesa, Miramar, Rancho Penasquitos, Sabre Springs, Scripps Ranch, Sorrento Mesa, Carmel Mountain Ranch, and neighboring communities.

When

Our Soccer Year

Region 285 offers a Fall Program from August through November and a Spring Program from February through May. We also offer summer camps and skills clinics throughout the year.

100% Volunteer Powered

AYSO Mira Mesa runs because local families step up. Every coach, referee, board member, team parent, field helper, concessions volunteer, and event volunteer helps create a better soccer experience for our kids.

Positive Coaching

Coaches teach, encourage, and help players build confidence.

Good Sportsmanship

Players, coaches, referees, and families are expected to show respect for the game and each other.

Player Development
