Night-Before Check-In
Teams may check in the night before the tournament on Friday, May 22, 2026 in San Diego, CA 92126.
Only one team representative needs to attend the night-before check-in.
Tip: Checking in Friday is strongly recommended. It saves time on game day and helps avoid last-minute roster issues before your first match.
If your team checks in on game day, please arrive early and head directly to the check-in table.
Important: All teams must also check in with their full roster before every match to confirm player eligibility and ensure player safety.
Check-In Requirements
The team representative must bring the following items to check-in:

Region Commissioner-signed team roster
Your roster must be signed by your Regional Commissioner. Without a signed roster, your team cannot compete. No exceptions. Teams will be turned away without a signed roster.

Six (6) game cards that match your signed roster
Print directly from Sports Connect, which is recommended, or use the provided game card template.

Player identification
Bring either laminated player ID cards or a photo roster from Sports Connect.

Coach-signed Zero Tolerance Agreement
This agreement must be completed and signed by the coach.

Medical release forms for all players
Bring completed medical release forms for every player on the roster.
Roster Rules
Rosters should be generated through your registration platform whenever possible.

A photo roster is required if player cards are not available.
The photo roster must be signed by your Regional Commissioner.

If your region uses non-photo rosters, bring AYSO player ID cards.
The roster still needs the Regional Commissioner signature.

If your region cannot generate a roster, you may use the Team Roster Form.
The Team Roster Form must still be signed by your Regional Commissioner.

Rosters must include jersey numbers.
Players must be listed in jersey-number order.

Jersey numbers must match.
The jersey numbers on your roster must match the numbers on your line-up cards.
Before Every Match
Team check-in is not just a one-time tournament step. Before every match, teams must check in with their full roster so player eligibility can be confirmed.
Bring to each match
Your full roster, player identification, game card, and any required documents requested by tournament staff.
Arrive early
Give your team enough time to complete pre-game check-in before warmups and kickoff.
